![]() ![]() Should you spend you CP to get upgrades for your infantry now? Maybe save your CP to unlock a powerful tank? Or maybe get some artillery support ready for use? It can have a lot of depth and really change how a single doctrine can be played. This offers a lot of interesting decisions throughout the game. The really interesting part is that you have to actively spend your CP points unlocking the various things within the doctrine. Each nation have 4 doctrines that have a tech tree that unlocks units, abilities, and call ins that shape the unique way a doctrine plays. It can definitely be strange going from regular CoH2 to Wikinger but there is a lot of very interesting things worth playing the mod for.īy far one of my favorite things is the tech trees. Units shoot at each other from farther ranges, infantry will die much faster, and vehicle/tanks are much more vulnerable to AT fire. If you've never played realism mod like Spearhead or Wikinger than essentially realism makes combat a lot bloodier. This is particularly frustrating thing with "British Forces" and "Ardennes Assault" because they cannot be deleted.Wikinger is a realism mod that has quickly become my favorite way to play CoH2. Simply unsubscribing/unselecting a DLC will not solve the problem, you have to delete the content permanently. On the other hand if the DLC is free of charge, mismatch will not be overcome by a simple download from the server. When we're talking about DLCs that have a price tag on them, download obviously does not initiate. ![]() I'm no expert but I think that when ever two players are "checked" in the online/skirmish room, steam tries to load the exact same DLCs that other player has to the player lacking them. At this point it was obvious that it was because of the skins, decals and faceplates.īe noted that any custom skin can make the mismatch between players, CoH2 interprets skin as a mod? When you use common skins, faceplates and so, no problems such as mentioned before should occur. Now it tried to load something over and over again. After this the game gave the same error "Player has selected a mod that one or more party memebers have not installed" but with different results. My brother finally purchased "British Forces" and "Ardennes Assault" because we got so tired of this BS. This was indeed a DLC issue as I expected. After almost three long weeks I've been able to find solution. ![]()
